Ramps

Ramps are covered for children on an individual case-by-case basis. Under results of a Fair Hearing, coverage of ramps was classified as DME. All ramps for children (aged 0 to 20) must receive prior authorization.

Ramps are provided for adults only through the Home and Community Based Waiver for Elders and Adults with Disabilities or through the Home and Community Based Waiver for Persons with Mental Retardation.
