Helpful Hints:

It should be noted that limited funds and subspecialty medical eligibility dominate the funding decisions of this agency.

It should be noted that this agency has a narrow eligibility range. In the case of preschool children who are Social Security Income recipients, the program may pay for specialized medical equipment, AT or help with customizing of equipment if these devices/ services are not covered through the state Maine Care program.

Non-covered items include: augmentative communication devices/systems, vestibular stimulation equipment, and amplification devices.
