An Introduction to the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design A one day workshop conducted by the New England ADA Center
Wednesday, February 29, 2012 9 am - 4 pm
The 2010 Standards include new specifications for employee areas, entrances, single user toilet rooms, recreation areas and more. We focus on what's new, what's been dropped, requirements when alterations are undertaken, when an elevator is required and the revised formatting. Representatives from the Maine State Fire Marshall's Office, the Maine Human Rights Commission and the Maine Accessibility Coordinator Office, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services will discuss their roles with plan review, implementation and enforcement.
Cost $40 (includes lunch, the Standards and other material)
